Game Farm Studios Ltd (“Game Farm”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our websites, games, or services (“Services”), and outlines your rights under UK data protection law.

2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following types of data, depending on how you use our Services:
For signed-in players
- Email address (from Google sign-in)
- Public display name (chosen during game onboarding)
- Game scores, streaks, and statistics
- Gameplay usage data (games played, time played, guesses or moves made)
- Consent preferences (terms version, stats consent, metrics consent)
- Coarse device information when you play: mobile or desktop, and operating-system family (for example iOS, Android, macOS, or Windows). We do not collect OS version numbers, browser fingerprints, or other data intended to identify a specific device.
For guests (play without signing in)
- Game progress stored on your device in browser storage (for example session history and stats)
- If you opt in to anonymous cloud contribution in a game such as Ish, we may store:
- A hashed device identifier (derived from a random id in your browser — we do not store the raw id server-side)
- Lean gameplay sessions, derived stats, and engagement events (no email or account id)
- Coarse device type and operating-system family as above
- Guest consent is stored locally per game where applicable (for example Ish:
statsConsent and metricsConsent toggles)
For customers (licensing / dashboards)
- Email address and/or mobile number
- Business contact information (company name, address)
- Licensing and product usage data
Automatically collected
- Authentication metadata (via Firebase Auth / Google sign-in)
- Server logs and security-related connection metadata as part of operating the Services
We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Register and manage your account (player or customer)
- Track your game activity, scores, and streaks
- Provide leaderboards, cross-device history, and peer comparison features where enabled
- Understand aggregate usage (for example how many players use mobile vs desktop, or iOS vs Android) to improve our games
- Provide dashboards and metrics to our customers
- Improve the functionality, performance, and accessibility of our games
- Send service-related messages
We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Consent and optional analytics
Some features are optional and consent-gated:

- Guests: consent is stored in your browser for that game and can be changed in the game Settings.
- Signed-in players: stats and metrics consent are stored on your account (
players/{uid}.privacy) and apply across games that read those flags.
You can withdraw consent at any time via in-game Settings or your account page. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Contract – to provide you access to the Services and your account
- Legitimate Interests – to operate the platform securely, maintain leaderboards, and understand aggregate usage
- Consent – for optional anonymous stats/metrics and any future cookie-based analytics
6. Sharing Your Data
We do not sell your data.
We share data only with trusted third parties when necessary to run the Services:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage) – account sign-in and cloud data storage
- Google Cloud – hosting and infrastructure
All third-party providers are subject to contractual and legal obligations to protect your data.
7. International Transfers
Some of our service providers (for example Google Cloud / Firebase) may process data outside the UK or EU. In such cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
8. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our Services:
- Active accounts: as long as the account remains in use
- Inactive accounts: up to 12 months after last activity
- Anonymous Ish metrics batches: retained for aggregate analytics; not linked to your identity unless you sign in
- You may request deletion at any time (see section 9)

You have the right to:
- Access your data
- Correct or update your data
- Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”)
- Object to or restrict how your data is used
- Withdraw consent (where applicable)
- File a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)

10. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. This includes:
- Secure authentication via Firebase Auth (Google sign-in)
- Encryption of sensitive player fields at rest where applicable
- Server-only writes for player profiles and scores
- Hashed identifiers for anonymous cloud contributions (no raw guest device ids stored server-side)
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
11. Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
We do use browser storage (for example localStorage and sessionStorage) so games can:
- Remember your progress on this device
- Store your privacy consent choices
- Buffer optional metrics before upload
Clearing site data in your browser will remove local progress and consent until you play again.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our Services or the law.
If significant changes are made, we will notify you through the Services or by email.
